The syllabus for GATE ES is classified into 9 sections. The expected marks allotted have been calculated as per the model paper. Most of the sections have similar weightage, and we will have to wait for the GATE 2021 paper to validate if that is the case.
As per information brochure, the marks for general aptitude and maths are fixed.
General Aptitude: 15 marks
Mathematics Foundation: 13 marks
