IIT Kharagpur, the organising institute of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2022 has just announced the GATE 2022 examination dates. GATE 2022 exam is going to start from 5th of February 2022 and there are four days allocated for the GATE 2022 Examination - 5th, 6th, 12th and 13th of February, as confirmed by the Organising Institute.
GATE 2022 is going to see two new papers- Geomatics Engineering, Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. The two new papers for GATE 2022 will be Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, Geomatics Engineering. Adding these new papers, the total number of papers in GATE 2022 will be 29.
GATE 2021 started with Civil Engineering paper (GATE CE) on 06th of February 2021, so we can expect a similar schedule this time as well. For the final paper wise schedule, we have to wait till December, as the final paper wise schedule for GATE 2021 was released on the second week of December 2021.
Talking about GATE CE and GATE ES Syallbi, the final syllabus is not yet out. It won't vary much from GATE 2021 syllabus. But, for the final syllabus, we have to wait till mid-August.
I understand this update will make it very serious towards your GATE 2022 preparation. You definitely have 193 days left for GATE 2022. Make the best use of these 193 days, prepare a suitable strategy for you and it will surely make a difference.
